Using Pages For Taking Notes

Create new page

Wiznotes note taking software provides a few different ways that you can create a new page:

  • Click on the 'New Page' button located on the navigator's toolbar. This will cause a new page to be added to the end of the group of pages that is currently open.
  • Right-click on a group of pages in the navigator and select 'New Page'. This will cause a new page to be added to the end of that group of pages.
  • Right-click on a page in the navigator and select 'New Page'. This will cause a new page to be added immediately after the page that you right-clicked.

    After you create a new page you will be required to give it a name. After typing the name press on ENTER on your keyboard. You will then be able to starting writing notes in that new page. The name of your page will appear on a button in the main pane of Wiznotes' navigator inside the group of pages that the page is in. You can view the contents of a page by pressing its button in the navigator. The name of a page also appears in the contents of the page as the title of the page.

    Moving pages

    You can change the order that pages appear in the navigator. You can do this by dragging and dropping the pages to where you want them within their wiznotebook. Alternatively you can right-click on a page and select one of the relocation actions that appears in the 'Move' submenu.

    Author

    You can view information about the author of a page by right-clicking on the button that represents the page in the navigator and select 'Author...'.

    Import and Export

    You can export a page by right-clicking that page in Wiznotes' navigator and then select 'Export...' in the context menu.

    You can import a page after a page that already exists by right-clicking on a page in Wiznotes' navigator and select 'Import Page...' from the context menu.
