ICT is used in different ways in education. Wiznotes is a productivity tool that helps students do much more than keep a digital record of their course notes.

When we speak to people about students using Wiznotes for writing their course notes, many people react by asking "Why can't students use Word or OneNote?” In answering this question it is important to understand what the purpose of word processor software is, what is the purpose of organizer software and what is the purpose of Wiznotes.

Today there are word processors that are excellent for allowing users to produce very nice looking letters, reports, documents etc. Organizers are very good if you need to keep a digital record of information or gather and arrange information from different sources.

With Wiznotes, however, we understand students' final goal of writing notes. It is not just in order to keep a digital record of information, it is in order to learn information and pass their exams. With a physical pen and paper, there is not much that the pen and paper can do to help students to pass their exams. When students write course notes on a computer, there is no need for us to limit ourselves to the functionality that is provided by pen and paper. Wiznotes is a productivity tool that has many features that does much more than allows students to keep a digital record of their notes. Wiznotes helps students to learn whatever they are studying and pass their exams.

Re: Why Use Wiznotes Digital Notebook Software?

I can advise another software for taking notes. Pinoteo (www.pinoteo.com) is a free and useful digital board; with it you can share your ideas and make presentations.
